How to Ease Pain From High Heels
Are you a high heeled girl? I have to admit, I am not that big of a fan of high heels. My feet are hurting so bad after only just a short while of wearing high heels. I know many women are right there with me right?!
Enter Foot Petals into the picture. A solution to finally kill the pain. Foot petals are cushions that you can use in your shoes to help say good bye to the foot pain. Foot petals are made from PORON Urethanes which is a unique patented material. The cushions help absorb the shock so the energy will not be pushed back on your body.
Since you never know what a mom goes through in a day until you have walked a mile in a mom’s shoes, Foot Petals jumped on board to create a cushion kit just for moms. It is called the Stiletto Stylist Kit for Moms.
This kit contains:
1 pair of Tip Toes – these flower-shaped cushions prevent calluses, protect bones and tissue and cushion the ball of the foot
1 pair of Heavenly Heetz – these multi-functional cushioins prevent blisters on the heels and help prevent slipping and sliding in your shoes
2 sets of Strappy Strips – these thin strips add comfort to your favorite strappy shoes and sling backs and prevent blisters and unsightly red marks on your feet and heels
1 pair of Killer Kushionz – this full insole can be worn in open toe shoes and sandals to provide arch and heel support
2 pairs of Sole Stopperz – these petal-shaped adhesives are for the outer soles of your shoes and help prevent slipping on wet or slick surfaces
1 pair of Haute Heelz – these slim-fit heel cushions help absorb shock to heels, legs and the lower back as the prevent heel calluses and reduce friction
This whole package sales for $44.95 on Foot Petals.
I will have to say that I was pretty leary about these actually working. I thought for sure they would wear out or not stay in place in the shoe. I was wrong. The cushions go back to their shape after each time you wear them. So each time you are using the cushions, it is like they are new again. The cushions actually do stay in place so now I am able to wear high heels more than 1 hour at a time. This mom is sold :).

The Mop Your Husband Will Actually Use Giveaway
That is right my friends, I have found a mop that my husband will actually use. We are all about being a team with chores here at One Moms World. He once told me that his mom said “You are going to make someone a good housewife one of these days” HA! Honestly, he does love to do housework but does not like anything too technical or anything he has to be constantly changing.
Enter in the Libman Freedom Spray Mop!
Did you see that? Made in the USA! Quality manufactured in the USA (Arcola, IL) by a 4th generation family owned company.
I was the sucker and kept buying those mops that you had to refill with all those chemicals and all they did was kept collecting in the storage room and was never used because my husband would just keep going back to the traditional mop or putting forth a little elbow grease on his hands and knees. We didn’t grow up on all those chemicals or fancy devices so he says we do not need to bring up our girls on those either. With the Libman Freedom Spray Mop you have the freedom to choose any cleaning solution you want to put in: Your favorite cleaner, plain water, environmentally friendly solution etc. Removable bottle for easy filling. We just use good ole soap and water.
Another big plus now with the Libman Mop is we do not have to keep buying refills as the reusable microfiber pad on the mop can be machine washed up to 50 times. The pad is safe on all flooring surfaces. Also you do not have to have use no technology with this mom as it is free from batteries. The trigger sprayer allows you to control how much liquid is coming out so you will just grab and go. We no longer have to haul around the heavy messy mop buckets either!
Basically it takes a little from the past mop traditions and mesh it with the present mop traditions and we have a mop that works well in our environmental friendly house. It helps save time and energy, yet it still gets the job completed. Clean Floors!
The Freedom Spray Mop is now available at retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $19.99 to $24.99. Look for the Libman mop in the broom and mop section of your favorite store. OR Better yet… you can win one here at One Moms World. Then your husband will be all about cleaning your kitchen right?

Do You Cry In The Car Pick-Up Line
I do! I am a sap. I will go ahead and admit it. There are still days I wake up and think am I living a dream? Am I really a mom? I am a mom to two wonderful daughters who light up every inch of my body.
I dreamed of being a mom ever since I was a little girl. That was one of my main goals in life was to become the best mommy in the whole wide world. When I hear my girls say those exact words, I just hug them so much and tears come to my eyes. Anyone that knows me knows my life definitely revolves around my family. Everything I do in my day to do life I involve my family and our wonderful Lord up above. That is what being a mom is all about right? I often hear people say, you need to get out and do more things for yourself. You need to go on a girls night out, or you need to take a vacation without kids, or you need to really get the girls in their own bedroom. Really? Do I?
Maybe that is how people see it from the outside view, but honestly I cry when I am away from the girls or my hubby. Sending the girls to school each day just takes so much out of me. It really is exhausting so much that when I drive through the pick-up line each day and my eyes catches the girls eyes, I immediately start crying. It never fails, every single day it happens. I see the girls big smiles and them waving so big back at me, I just lose it. I am just so blessed that God chose me to be a mom to these two wonderful and bright girls. So I am sure the people that see me in the line each and every day must think I am a crazy person to always have red eyes in the car line, but the truth is those are gigantic happy tears creating those red eyes. I am just so happy and excited to see my girls in that car pick-up line, that I want to move all the cars out of the way so I can hurry up and grab my girls.
I never imagined being a mom would bring this much love and warmth to my heart.
I love you M and L always and forever!
Gap Casting Call Photo Tips Plus Gap Giveaway
Did you hear?! It is that time of year again! The Gap Casting Call is going on right now. You know I have to enter my little fashion diva L. She is just too adorable and loves to ham it up for the camera. Gap has asked for my help to spread the word about the Gap Casting call and in return they are going to give one of my readers their own free pair of jeans. So cool right?
I did want to share a few tips with you so you can capture that perfect photo of your child.
1. Make sure to not pose your child. Let them be natural and snap away with your camera. If you pose them, they will start getting aggravated and will possibly have meltdowns.
2. Stage the photo shoot in front of a solid background. If you have busy distractions in the background, your camera flash may focus on the background noise instead of your precious model.
3. Keep continuously shooting with your camera. Do not stop so you will not miss that perfect shot. Kids move and change poses fast, so keep snapping away.
4. Be upbeat. If you are upbeat throughout the photo shoot, then the child will be happy.
5. Ask the child questions throughout the photo shoot, to spark their creativity. Keep them smiling with crazy sayings. Happiness will equal one awesome photo shoot!
I did a mini photo shoot with L and did a short video of the photo shoot to showcase the tips above. Watch the short minute and half video to see what photo we ended up entering in the Gap Casting Call!
Now it is your turn to create a photo shoot. Hurry and go grab your camera, your child and start snapping away. Here are the 4 categories:
• Baby Girls (ages 0 to 4 years of age)
• Baby Boys (ages 0 to 4 years of age)
• Girls (ages 5 to 10 years of age)
• Boys (ages 5 to 10 years of age)
