So we came in this morning from having a hike through the snowy woods and decided we would make another great weight watchers recipe. Thanks to one of my BFF Cindy for this recipe. It is so good and such a hit. Don’t mind my hair (you can tell I was wearing a toboggan). M didn’t even want to take her coat off either ;). Enjoy!
Weight Watchers Number One Results
Weight Watchers Weigh In 1
Here we go….I am a little nervous but know I have done so well by sticking to my points allowed each day of the past week. I really hope I have lost. It will make me so giddy.
I was looking back on pictures. I lost my weight sooooooo good after M. Back in size 6’s by the time she was 6 months old. Here is one picture of just my face, but you can tell how great I looked.
I got pregnant with my wonderful bundle of joy number 2 L and from the get go, just couldn’t lose the weight. Here I am when she was 8 weeks old in the hospital with RSV. This picture shows how big I am, but it makes me so sad because M was sick as well and needed me just as much as L did.
See the difference in my face? UGGGH. I am shooting for my face to go back to the first picture. I can do it I can do it I can do it!!!
I tried a great Weight Watcher’s recipe tonight. You may want to try it. Each slice is only 1 point.
1 box of cake mix (I used Orange Dream, you can use just plain white cake mix)
1 can of diet Sunkist drink
2 egg whites.
Bake as the temperature on the cake box.
Let the cake cool and top with fat free whipped cream.
It was a big hit here tonight… everyone enjoyed it. I didn’t feel guilty eating it either since it was so low in points YAY ๐

As we are approaching the most wonderful time of year, Christmas, I want you to remember all the children that will not be able to celebrate Christmas this year. What if I told you, you and your family could make a difference? You can absolutely. My dad works for Samaritans Purse and has for a few years. We live here in the town of Samaritans Purse and it brings me great joy to tell you about Operation Christmas Child.
Please take just 5 minutes and watch this video. Also go ahead and watch the others if you would like.
It just warms my heart to see these kids faces when they get their shoe box. As I was in the Samaritans Purse warehouse a couple months ago talking with the HR person, he took me on a tour. It was bringing me to tears. I told him the song, “I can only imagine” comes to my mind when I think of these wonderful children opening their box. I am very excited to volunteer with the shoe boxes this year. Also, of course the girls and I will be filling a couple shoe boxes this weekend to take part in this extra oridnary event.
Please if you will, take some time this week and weekend and fill a shoe box with your family. There are national collection centers all over the US. I am sure there is one right in your hometown. Next week is National Collection week and then all the shoe boxes will be coming here to be all sorted through.ย That is where I will volunteer. For more information on how you can fulfill a child’s wish this Christmas, please go here. If I can help in anyway, just let me know. Please leave a comment below if you will be taking part in this, this year. Also if you would please help spread the word on your blog. Let’s make this year the biggest year yet at Operation Christmas Child!!!!!
God Bless everyone in this wonderful Holiday season ๐
New Milestone For My Girls – High School Musical 3
M and L are almost 6 and 4. They had yet to step foot into a movie theater until yesterday. I have been thinking for the last two weeks, I wanted to surprise the girls with a day out with mom.
I did just that. I surprised them with High School Musical 3 tickets.
I didn’t realize the movie was 2 hours long. I was thinking UH OH, what have I got myself into ;). Do you know they did not move the whole two hours. They were loving High School Musical. So I believe I picked a great movie for their first experience to the movie theater.
I am happy to announce, I did not eat one piece of popcorn either ;).
I think I was excited as the girls to go see this movie. The last movie I seen in a theater was back in 1997 when Titanic came out.
In my opinion, this is the best movie of the series in High School Musical. It brought back a lot of memories of my High School Days. Makes me feel old now haha. There were times, I just wanted to get up and dance a jig and clap my hands. I was just getting into the movie so much. My girls were of course dancing in their seats.
I will definitely give this a movie a 10 out of 10. I can’t wait to get it on DVD so I can sit and watch it with my girls again. Is it really ok that I just admitted that ;).
So have you took your child to see HSM 3. What did you think?
