Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk

Well yes I will..

So we are all just waking up this morning and I do our morning routine of getting the girls their first cups of milk of the morning. I get Madisyn's to her just fine, but Lyndsee's is a little more complicated as I have to hide some medicine in hers ;).

I see we only have a little bit of milk so I try to divide it out among the girls. Fine, no problem. I get Lyndsee's poured after Madisyn's and get the medicine put into it. I sit the cup of milk down since I need to put the medicine back up. There goes the cup of milk tipped over with her medicine in it, onto my cell phone and all over Madisyn's artwork :(.

I just lose it. Luckily I have some sense in my head to hurry and grab the cell phone so its good, just a bit a milk on the top THANK GOODNESS! This has been one more stressful week so any other time I probably wouldn't have cried but this was the breaking point :(.

And you know what Organic milk is not cheap either hahaha, but that was least of my worries at this point as I had a screaming preschooler on my leg just wanting her milk. Luckily her big sister so graciously seen what was going on and offered Lyndsee her milk. Now that made me stop crying in an instant and thank my big girl for being so kind and caring.

Thankfully all is well back in the household….. :::phew:::

Its Beginning To Look A lot Like Christmas

As you can see I have updated my blog design to incorporate my favorite holiday of all times. It makes me sad its only one day so as soon as Halloween is over… I am all gung ho with the decorations, christmas songs and this year my blog design. How do you like?

So I just had to make a post about it and YES… I am homesick for my hometown this year. I miss the cool weather and the SNOW! My girls in the snow this past winter.

Please Let Me Win Pink Dyson For Lyndsee’s Asthma

I just found out that Domestic Diva is letting mom bloggers have a chance to Win a Dyson “Pink” Vaccuum in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This couldn't have came at a better time as a couple weeks ago we had Lyndsee's Allergy testing done and she actually tested negative to all food allergies, but highly positive to environmental allergies. One of the environmental allergies she tested extremely high for was Dust Mites. The place on her back where they poked her with the dust mites prong… it swelled up so big and at the time I didn't know what that particular prong was but knew whatever it was it wasn't good. It scared me that it was getting so big.

Anyways when the allergist came back in she was explaining to us what we needed to do to help control the dust mites and one thing she highly recommended was a good vaccumm. I have been doing some research and the Dyson's are highly recommended but we are having to save up before committing to a big purchase like that. When I came across Domestic Diva's site, I thought oh my goodness what a dream come true if we can win this. Fun Times for Halloween 2007

We had a total blast this year. This is first year of living in a HOA big community so I had no idea of how it would all go down… but we couldn't have asked for a better time. The girls had so much fun going around to all the houses, most of all the families here in our sub division were all outside having fun so it was easier on everyone.

After we took the girls around we all came back and got our chairs out and let Madisyn give out candy to all the trick or treaters that came by. We bought six bags to give out and RAN OUT! EEEK. We'll know for next time. Here are some picts of the night.

The last picture of Madisyn I wanted to post because this was her princess dress she wore to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween at Disney but it ripped so we had to buy her another outfit.. but she was such a beautiful princess that I had to share. They made even more beautiful fairies 🙂
