Can I Get All Emotional

… and no it is not that time of month haha ;). I am still allowed though to shed some happy tears though right?

You see that huge smile on that App State wearing little girl! She is my oldest daughter and along with my youngest can move me to tears in an instance.

My heart just leaps out to their hearts and makes me melt all over again and again. So what had me in happy tears today?

The first thing was… I was in the school line to pick her up from school. She caught glimpse of me and immediately jumped up and got the biggest smile on her face. She was waving the biggest wave she could. Then you could see her telling all her friends.. that’s my mommy ;). Oh my goodness, did the tears start just pouring. I mean come on Jen, you are right there in school line with the principal looking at you, and you are just shedding the tears. They were happy tears though because I have that effect on my darling M that she gets so happy to see me each and everyday from school. I love the bond we share. Don’t worry M, I am just as happy and probably more to see your most wonderful smile in the afternoons as well.

The secong thing was… we were working on her bible verse that she has to learn this week for Awana in order to get her new book. The verse this week is John 3:16. Sitting there with her tonight and listening at her memorize this verse took me back to my younger days in church. I remembered this same verse around her age and now I am sitting here helping MY little girl, learn the same verse. Turn on the water spout again because here goes the tears flowing full speed ahead. Seeing her light up once she got every word down pat and her wanting to repeat it over and over. LOVE IT. Just a little reminder from God that yes, Jen you are doing just what you need to be doing raising these two beautiful girls.

Life is sooo good! So its ok to be emotional with happy tears right? 🙂
