What a hoot this video is. It so cracked me up when my youngest daughter just started singing and dancing this out of the blue. My brother actually got this for my nephew back at Easter, but it seems my daughter has took claim to it.

Take a look… and watch the whole video as she does so many different moves that will leave you laughing so hard.

Sisters Are Best Friends

I always yearned for a sister when I was small. It really makes my heart melt to see that I have given my girls a true best friend.

They love each other to the moon and back. Yes, they have their moments when they fight, but its times like this that makes you forget about those oh crazy fights.

We Will End The Summer With A Bang

I cannot believe that Summer 08 is over. It went by so fast. We just had to end it on a bang and took the girls to Tweetsie. I found out really quick that my 5 year old is not scared of nothing as far as riding rides. Let me show you what we went on, that about gave this momma heart failure ;).

You better believe this momma was screaming all the way up and down. Madisyn was just holding on to me really tight. What it would do is take you up and drop you really fast with no warning. It did that over and over. PHEW!!!!

She was riding all the adult rides and kept asking to re-ride them.

We finally talked her into going to feed the animals. The girls had an absolute blast with the animals eating out of their hands.

I actually got Lyndsee on a ride finally.. her first ever. So cute.

It was fun to let our hair down so to speak and just go with the flow :). Good bye Summer… HELLO Fall 08 🙂

My Girls The Dog Lovers

The wonderful sisters over at 5 Minutes for Mom are having a adoption for three super cute dogs.

I just wanted to take a brief moment to let you know why my girls would love to adopt these fur babies. You see, my girls are huge dog lovers and have been since they were old enough to realize what doggys were. Ok… phew the tears are welling up in my eyes.

You see, a couple years ago we had to make a move from the country to the city. That meant we had to give up our wonderful Charlie who was a peek-a-poo. He went to a great home and family, but still that was my first baby and my girls lovey too. Both girls cried when they realized they wouldn’t see Charlie anymore. I’m secretly wishing he will show up one day, but I know that wish will probably not happen.

It has been so sad ever since, everywhere we go the girls run up to doggies and just have the best time with them. They love to hug them, pet them and just run with them. It just brings the biggest smile to their faces too, but you see we have not been allowed to have doggies since we moved to Florida in a rental house, and now we are in NC in a rental house just for short term till we can either build or buy. It breaks my husbands and my heart each and every day the girls ask for a doggie. They long for a doggie. They tell everyone they see, they just want a doggie to love and care for.

My sister in law in Florida has 3 doggies and everytime we go see them, its love at first site with the doggies and my girls. They don’t want to leave them. It warms us to see our girls being such big dog lovers, so just understand the pain when we cannot grant the girls wish right now to have our own doggy again in our family.

I would love for the girls to be able to adopt the doggys from 5 Minutes For Mom right now, so it can help them until next year we are able to fulfill the girl’s wish. I could just imagine their big smile now when they see 5 Minutes for Mom doggy at the door now.

Beautiful Summer Day Equals Parkville

We wanted to just have a fun day out as a family since hubbs was home from his long business trip.

First off…Madisyn woke up and wanted to go have her picture made. She has been asking me forever and I have felt guilty because we have not had professional picts of her done since she was 18 months old :(. I do have a million picts that I have taken though myself.. because I do love being behind the lens and capturing all the moments of my girls’ lives. So we headed out to get professional pictures done and they turned out sooooo cute. We get them back in two weeks, so I can’t wait to share them then.

After we had a rocking photo session, we surprised the girls with a picnic lunch at the park. We gathered their eyes back up and put them back in their sockets 😉 and proceeded to have a wonderful summer lunch. Of course the food was scoffed down like we hadn’t ate in 10 years, just so we can all have fun on the park.

The next hour, I got lost into my little girl’s eyes and forgot about the world around me. I pulled out my camera and just wanted to focus so hard on them and the pictures I found when I got home on my camera are PRICELESS. Honestly they are so good and I don’t think I have ever took such great photos. I am really figuring out my camera finally after 3 years ;).

It was fun just tuning out everything around us and getting on their levels to experience the delights and sparkles that were in the eyes and voice. It’s fun being a kid again 🙂
