Songs from the Heart Celtic Woman Giveaway

As most of you all know, I lost my dear Grandmother last week. Music helps heal my heart so much and the Celtic Woman CD could not have came at a better time.

This CD Songs from the Heart motivates you, inspires you, and brings the biggest smile to your face! Every day I will get in my husband’s car (since he is the one with the CD player in his vehicle) and I will pop in the CD and turn it up so loud and go straight to track number 5 When You Believe. I will sing so loud and it just empowers me to get through the day. Each singer really has such a powerful voice that makes the music so unique and really inspiring to you.The Celtic Woman features vocalists Lisa Kelly, Chloe Agnew, Lynn Hilary and Alex Sharpe, with violinist Mairead Nesbitt.

Another song I have to listen to is track number 2 Amazing Grace as this was my Grandma’s favorite song and it helps me feel so close to her while it is playing. The instrumentals and vocalists behind this song is just so amazing to hear!

The CD includes 15 songs:

You will recognize song titles like Sting’s Fields of God and Mariah Carey’s When You Believe. All the songs move seamlessly between Irish classics, contemporary covers and original compositions.

Celtic Woman is currently on tour now including dates at Radio City Music Hall. The group is all over the Billboard charts, selling more than 3.8 million records in the U.S. alone, and has had 7 sold-out US Tours. They have performed on Dancing with the Starts and have an upcoming PBS Special.

You Have Been Hit With a Snowball and Giveaway

The snow is falling all around and the ground is just absolutely beautiful. The weather makes for treacherous driving, but you have to admit that it can be fun playing in.

One of the fun games my girls and I love to participate in is snowball throwing. Oh yea just when you are not looking and SMACK… you are hit! The girls will run just laughing their little hearts out to get ready to throw their next snowball.

So when I heard that there was a petition to try and get Snowball throwing as an event at the Olympics, I was all over this. You see, I have always wanted to be a part of the Winter Olympics since I was a little girl but since graceful is not in my vocab… I have just given up all hopes until NOW. Now, I can throw a mean snowball so I think I should be the first one recruited for this event right? Who is with me?

Go sign the petition and let’s join together so we can all be in the even together. Now if you just feel like you cannot sign the petition now and need to work on your snowball throwing skills, no worries! Coca-Cola has developed an online game to get you prepared and perfect your snowball throwing skills. Let the games begin :).

I have always enjoyed smoothies, but it has been years since I have actually made my own here at the house. I was so ecstatic to be able to review the new Yoplait Frozen Smoothies. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but I have to say it was so easy to make and the taste was excellent. I could see myself eating one of these everyday as a great snack that would be great for points on my Weight Watchers adventure.

Gather the milk and the smoothie package. I used the single Hamilton smoothie blender to make this smoothie.

Pour the entire package of the yoplait smoothie into the blender and add the milk.

Put the lid onto the blender.

Press the blender button to make the smoothie.

After a minute and half…. you have 2 servings of a fruit smoothie.

See how easy it is? This would be easy to make in the morning before you head out the door for the day or in the evenings for a snack. Like I said, the taste is delicious. It really is great taste that will leave you wanting more!
