I just found out that Domestic Diva is letting mom bloggers have a chance to Win a Dyson “Pink” Vaccuum in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This couldn't have came at a better time as a couple weeks ago we had Lyndsee's Allergy testing done and she actually tested negative to all food allergies, but highly positive to environmental allergies. One of the environmental allergies she tested extremely high for was Dust Mites. The place on her back where they poked her with the dust mites prong… it swelled up so big and at the time I didn't know what that particular prong was but knew whatever it was it wasn't good. It scared me that it was getting so big.

Anyways when the allergist came back in she was explaining to us what we needed to do to help control the dust mites and one thing she highly recommended was a good vaccumm. I have been doing some research and the Dyson's are highly recommended but we are having to save up before committing to a big purchase like that. When I came across Domestic Diva's site, I thought oh my goodness what a dream come true if we can win this. Yesterday was a crazy day having to taking Lyndsee back to the hospital her asthma was so out of control and now she has a upper respiratory infection on top of that :(. I will write an update about her this week too about what we found out at the dr's. Thanks for all emails of support.

I am proud to announce our first contest here at One Moms World!

I recently got the opportunity to review two very cool DVDs from Exercise With Mommy.  You see my girls absolutely love to exercise with me, but the problem was they would have a hard time trying to do the different exercises. BINGO, the Excecise With Mommy DVDs is just what I have been looking for.

The first DVD Back in Shape with Baby – is the neatest concept and really wish I would have known about this when my girls were babies. I viewed the DVD and was just amazed. It really is powered to help you exercise and keep the baby happy all at the same time. Now we moms all know that is one great concept! This DVD is geared for moms with babies age 6 weeks to 6 months.

The second DVD Energize and Exercise with your Preschooler – is the one I have been using with my girls for about a month now. We have absolutely the best time doing this DVD and mommy is getting back in shape too. Amy uses colors that the girls love and keeps their attention in the video. As soon as we finish the first 10 minutes they are cheering wanting to do another 10 minutes ;). It is really a win win situation as I am getting the much needed exercise and I am teaching my girls about healthy exercise at the same time.

I have always loved baby showers and never really heard the term cyber baby shower's but thinking about it, it is a really neat concept and especially now that I am miles away from my family and have lots of cool online friends.

As you can see from their cyber shower post, they are playing a few games. The first game is to post a pict of the most sympathy-inspiring photo of you in childbirth. I am going to post this pict as I am so excited to finally have my first baby girl out, but wow that was a lot of work. What do you think? hehe
