Last week I cooked for a large crowd at our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. I had bought extra boxes of corn flakes to use in a couple dishes and for the girls to eat for breakfast. Well, I came back home with two boxes of corn flakes. Since I am not a fan of just plain corn flakes, I knew we where going to have to do something with these leftover corn flakes. Collective Bias asked me if I would like to contribute to their Dummies Guide to Leftovers, and I was all over that as I can be queen of leftover ideas!
Since we are all over turkey and all the fixings at the moment… I thought I would do some type of dessert with the corn flakes. It is that time of year for the holiday baking you know, so I decided to make hay stacks! I only needed to add a couple ingredients so we were off the the new Wal-Mart Supercenter that is just around the corner from my house. I was able to get ConAgra products of Reddi Whip (twist to our hay stacks recipe), Pam, and Peter Pan Peanut Butter for very low prices.

Here is the recipe written:
1 cup of peanut butter
1 bag of butterscotch morsels
6 cups Corn Flakes (approximately)
Combine the peanut butter and morsels into a large pot on the stove.
Heat on medium heat. Stir frequently.
Once melted remove from the burner and pour in corn flakes.
Mix the corn flakes really good into the melted mixture.
Then you will drop by the spoonfuls onto a wax sheet of paper.
Let sit for hour to hour half. Enjoy with Reddi Whip (optional)
It is such an easy recipe but one that everyone will definitely enjoy 🙂
