My best bud Nell over at Casual Friday Everyday tagged me to share what my work at home uniform usually consists of.

I'm a pretty relaxed gal and usually just wear a t-shirt and jogging shorts or pants. Now of course I will get dressed up of the hubbs and I go out with the girls or I am taking Madisyn to preschool but when just working around the house… I want comfort.

Mommys Night Out at Starbucks

Today has just been one of those days and I feel like I am getting to that point where I need some ME TIME. I really don't get that often… maybe once ever six months or so which is totally not enough. Moms should get out and rejeuvante themselves ever couple weeks or so.

Well I just got off the phone with Hubbs… he is on his way home from work and he said Jen just take the evening go grocery shopping and stop off at Starbucks and enjoy your favorite drink there. AHHH… I'm so excited I can't even hold it in 🙂 I just had to share.

How often do you get out and have some me time? I'm thinking about starting a mommy's night out here in my new city. Not sure if I will or not but its something I have been thinking about it. I know one blogger Stefanie that lives really close to me, so I should see what she thinks :).

I'll be back a renewed mommy tonight ;).

Sorry for the lapse in posts here.. Just had a lot going on past couple weeks business and personal wise. I figured hey if I don't have anything positive to say then just stay away. Have some crucial specialist appointments coming up for my baby girl Lyndsee, so that has been on my mind alot tooo.

I do miss my blogging friends though so I'm off to read me some good ole blogs 🙂

Our 4th of July Celebration

Ok… so we made it to Florida finally LOL and we wanted to do something for the 4th last night. Well we really weren’t sure where to go last night for the 4th of July celebrations so we chose Channelside in downtown Tampa.

We get there and are walking around and see a stage. Cool they must be going to have entertainment here tonight too. So we grab us a table and sit down right smack down in front of the stage LOL and start asking the people around us who is going to sing tonight. They said Katherine McPhee from American Idol. WHAT? OMG… She was giving a free concert for the night. I couldn’t believe it.

So we survived a down pour of rain with my step daughter sitting out in the rain the whole time LOL. Everyone was taking her picture and Scott got interviewed by the news station here hahaha. Anyways when the rain stopped we went back out and sat at our table. It came another little shower oh well what’s a little water.

People started packing in and here we are up front and center. The girls were dancing and had a good time. Katherine reached out and shook Madisyn’s hand hehe. She liked that. Katherine kept looking at Lyndsee too cute.

Wow’s It’s Been a While

I have been sooo busy weaning Lyndsee and potty training Madisyn that I have neglected our blog. Jen’s back in force now.

We had a great week this week, playing baby dolls and going to the park. The girls are just so darn cute with each other. Madisyn hugged Lyndsee tonight and said I Love You Sissy. It just melts my heart. I am so glad they are close.

Well Madisyn decided to become an early beautician the other night LOL. She found the scissors and went into her bedroom and cut all her hair off. It is pretty short. I just thank God she didn’t get hurt otherwise. They are definitely put up in a safe place now. I “fixed” her wonderful haircut job and put it into a cute bob. She looks so grown up now.

Lyndsee is wowing us each day with how good she is talking. Madisyn was a late talker so this is all a shock to us. BUT, Madisyn talks all the time now so Lyndsee has a good teacher 😉 hehe.

Well better run and get Madisyn to bed just wanted to update everyone on our girls 🙂
