and this my friends is why I love having girls 21 months apart…. they are sisters for life who love each other so much!

What is the funny part about this pict is; they were taking a bath tonight and decided to empty a whole bottle of shampoo and make bubbles everywhere on the floor of the bathroom while mommy was grabbing a towel from kitchen table that I had folded. I saw what they did and OMG… I said alright girlies… I think its bedtime for two little girls. So they went to bed with their hair wet and mommy wasn’t happy with them so they knew they had each other to cuddle with ;).

Update on Our Busy Month

We have had a hectic schedule past month but it has been super fun... I think only time I have cried when my Madisyn went to get her diploma. Gosh where has the time went? How can they already be graduating preschool!


For my birthday and mother's day we went to the outer banks. The girls had a blast. Now Madisyn is my water baby and would stay in the ocean or the pool. Lyndsee on the other hand loved the pool but didn't want anything to do the with the ocean LOL.

Then when we got back from vacation, Madisyn only had a week till her graduation. I was so proud of how she has done this year. She has really did a 360 circle and is such a social bug now with everyone and shameless brag.. so darn smart hehe. Here are some picts from her big day on Monday!



And now since we got our vacation and preschool out of the way... we are preparing for our big move to Tampa, Florida. I have always been a mountain girl but I looking forward to the new adventure and being with DH's family more and the girls can grow up with them. My mom and dad are retired too and they will be doing the move also so the girls will have both sides of the family. DH accepted the transfer for his company and the new position pays more and he is excited about it. We will be moving at the end of June. Hopefully everything will go well.
There is our update of our interesting month and I wanted to show off Madisyn as a graduate. :)

Are you a Match?

It is such a true and sad reality of how cancer is effecting this world. I follow many kids and pray for them nightly that God will give them their complete healing here on Earth. I feel though my prayers are just not enough sometimes and I feel my heart wanting to help so much more to bring the cure to this evil beast that is effecting millions of families across the world.

How can we help?

Be a bone marrow donor to help someone have a new life! Starting back on May 7th through May 21st… the National Marrow Donor Program is waiving the 52.00 fee to join the donor program. This is huge news for everyone and I hope they will take their program through the roof with new donors.

Jen is Moving to Florida

Stressed, Frantic, Overwhelmed, Excited, Anxious… how about all those emotions wrapped up into one and who does it describe. The beautiful (haha) talented (haha) Jen Houck.

My better half has accepted a transfer to his company’s headquarters in Tampa, Florida. We will be right on the bay. I am thrilled yet going crazy all at the same time. I’m still trying to keep my mind going with my business all the while trying to get the house packed up too.

Has anyone made a multi-state move?

I feel really good about this move. I will always be a mountain girl at heart but there is only so many opportunities here where we live and I can see so many more great opportunities for my family, my business and hubbs career. Also most importantly my girls will have both sides of the family near by instead of only mine.

Sooo with all that said that is why Jen may be sporadic for the next month ;). To jump start this move and for me to get re-energized we will be taking a vacation soon 🙂

Last Day of Spring Break

or maybe I should say Winter Break hahaha. It has been pretty chilly all week for Madisyn’s Spring Break. This has been one more heavy duty workload and I sure have felt the mommy guilt this week, but I have tried each day to make sure and take out time for the girls.

They love jumping on mommy, playing I SPY, singing songs, playing together on Nickjr.com. Madisyn cracks me up with her songs. I will have to take video so you can see how she just makes the words up as she goes.. but it always is beautiful and she really does sing good.

What did you all do on your Spring Break?

Also I hope everyone had a blast this past Easter Weekend. I wanted to share some photos of the girls on Easter Sunday!
