So we came in this morning from having a hike through the snowy woods and decided we would make another great weight watchers recipe. Thanks to one of my BFF Cindy for this recipe. It is so good and such a hit. Don’t mind my hair (you can tell I was wearing a toboggan). M didn’t even want to take her coat off either ;). Enjoy!

Weight Watchers Weigh In 1
Here we go….I am a little nervous but know I have done so well by sticking to my points allowed each day of the past week. I really hope I have lost. It will make me so giddy.
I was looking back on pictures. I lost my weight sooooooo good after M. Back in size 6’s by the time she was 6 months old. Here is one picture of just my face, but you can tell how great I looked.
I got pregnant with my wonderful bundle of joy number 2 L and from the get go, just couldn’t lose the weight. Here I am when she was 8 weeks old in the hospital with RSV. This picture shows how big I am, but it makes me so sad because M was sick as well and needed me just as much as L did.
See the difference in my face? UGGGH. I am shooting for my face to go back to the first picture. I can do it I can do it I can do it!!!
I tried a great Weight Watcher’s recipe tonight. You may want to try it. Each slice is only 1 point.
1 box of cake mix (I used Orange Dream, you can use just plain white cake mix)
1 can of diet Sunkist drink
2 egg whites.
Bake as the temperature on the cake box.
Let the cake cool and top with fat free whipped cream.
It was a big hit here tonight… everyone enjoyed it. I didn’t feel guilty eating it either since it was so low in points YAY ๐
So What If She Likes Peanuts
It may seem like I am boasting, when I say L at 4 years old has never had a soft drink in her life and does not want one either.ย She would rather have water, milk or juice. Mostly water and milk. I am just a proud mom that she would rather have those drinks that soft drinks. It is also her own will that she does not like soft drinks. She just has no desire for them.
Also, another thing she will choose peanuts or peanut butter over candy or chocolate. We were at the grocery store today, and the cashier just thought it was so weird because she chose peanuts in the checkout line instead of candy.
Being healthy really plays a lot on my minds, because when I was growing up we did not eat the healthiest things. We just ate whatever we could get our hands on to get by and unfortunately it was junk a lot. So by the time I was in 8th grade, I turned to starving myself to get off the weight of me. I got down to a very dark time of just skin and bones. I totally do not want that for my girls. I know self image means a lot to girls, so I want to raise my girls on more healthier options.
I am losing weight the healthy way this time, and not going to starve myself. Even though it has entered my mind to do that, I want to prove a good example to my girls. So water and peanuts it is for this diet HAHAHAHA… at least that is what L says ;).
Weight Watchers Here We Come
And yes… I could care less we are entering the Holiday season with all the most awesome food ever. I am hitting the weight watchers train with my buddy Cindy. I know we can motivate each other to get to our goals where we need to be.
After trying on about 6 different dresses/skirts this morning and seeing my body so unflattering, yea I think that’s all it took :(. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes. I’m actually pretty darn excited about this as I know so many people around me that has had such great results.
Let’s get this train started… oh and let me put it in overdrive so it can go super lightning fast WOOT WOOT ๐
