Moms are you glad that spring is here?
I am indeed glad that it is here because its time to get this holiday and winter blues weight off!! I have went through Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter now with all the feasts and all the holiday cooking. I have also went through the winter blues that life decided to throw my way this winter.
Well guess what? I am starting the Spring Operation Weight Off. This will be going for 8 weeks and we will check in each Monday and post our beginning weights and then that specific week's weight. I know I do better if I am held accountable and have to post to the world ;).
At the end of the 8 weeks, we will see who the biggest loser in the mom's community is! To be the biggest loser you will need to take a beginning picture at the beginning of the contest then at the end so we can see the progress. You do not have to post the picture to your blog if you do not want to. I will be throwing in the first prize: $25.00 gift certificate to a store of your choice located at supergiftcertificates.com. I am also looking for people to contribute to the prize vault so we can make this contest an out of this world contest! If you would like to offer a prize, please contact me at jenhouck @ gmail.com (take out the spaces). We will make sure all prize sponsors get a lot of publicity as well ;).
So we can get the word out, I will make the official start next Monday March 31, 2008. Come on moms lets join in and help each other out so we can show off our new weightloss bodies by summer :). Just grab the button in the left sidebar and post to your blog and help me pass the word around.

Great idea. I’ll be joining in! I’m already on a diet for my health and it’s working for my fat butt, too! lol
Can I join? I don’t so much want to lose weight but get in shape. I’m direly in need of getting in shape. And the contest is motivation for me to do something more than no exercise at all. I’d love to contribute a prize, too, but I’m not sure what . . . ? I’ll have to ponder it. . .

Count me in! I heard about the spring weight loss through Nell and thought is sounded like fun and now that I see prizes…well it can’t be any better. I would love to contribute a prize as well. Great idea! I went on the green tea diet and love it.
I feel a bit sorry that I didn’t take part in this contest. But, I have a great idea how to keep your weight stable and not to diet so often. You have to do some biking in the morning that will not give you a fast response but your weight will start losing rather effectively.
I love playing guitars and I’m addicted to acoustic songs. I love hearing them. When I’m in good mood, they refreshes my mind.
