My precious M at 7 years of age is such a kindred spirit. She amazes me each and everyday. Here she used to be this shy little girl but she is coming out of her shell so much. She is always putting others first and that was just sealed in her speech she wrote for Student Council this week. Here she is the new girl at school but has made friends so fast and is loving her classroom. I am totally in awe.
The Speech!
Hi, I am M.
I think I would be good for student council because I am a really good person. I will be my best at student council. I would love to be student council because I love to help others. If others need my help then I will be there for them. I don’t want them to start getting sad and feel left out. I want them to feel good about themselves and I would want them to treat me the same way I treat them.
I will make this school a different place and more fun with my creative ideas. I am a great team person because I will work better if I can win and some other people with me because I don’t want them to feel sad if they don’t get picked. I want to make an education out of this school and make the best school ever in the whole wide world. Can you please vote for me?
I can make this school clean and keep it clean so nobody gets sick or something. I want them to be healthy at school and stay healthy.
I thank my mom because she was in her student council before so I think I will be good at student council. I have learned all the skills she did when she was student council and she showed me the things she did when she was student council. So, I think I will be really really good for student council since my mom has taught me these things. My mom gave me the hope to be student council. She has taught me to do the best and be the best I can be. I have a lot of hope in me and I am not going to let go of my hope in being student council. I can do anything with hope. If I let go of hope, then I probably wouldn’t get things. I would love to be student council because my mommy was it.
Thank you. You all are awesome.
Love,
M
