I am for one pretty stoked and have been trying to guess what it looks like or what features. I am wondering if it will have wifi on it?

If we could only see what they all are holding in their hands but since we can’t we can enjoy the mystery of this new gadget and imagine the secrets that it holds. Kids of all ages and adults alike are probably saying ” I want it” , who wouldn’t it sounds cool and after all it is from Leap Frog.
If I had to guess I would think it would be a hand held touch screen device with the capacity for much learning. Fun and informative, can’t put it down, got to take it every where with me device. perhaps a mini like computer geared with saftey in mind for kids but adults will love it too.

I think, like most people, it will be a kid’s version of an iPod Touch. More durable, easy to use, etc…I do wonder if this will require parents to purchase apps of Leapster games we already own. So far most Leapfrog products are interchangeable, I am not sure this will be the case, but I haven’t seen the product so I don’t know.
Regardless…it loks super cool, and if we don’t win one we will buy one at some point.

I’m hoping it’s truly going to be versatile age-wise and not just something that they’ll be able to use for a year or two before it becomes obsolete.
I think they’ll make an e-reader for kids.

I’m hoping that it will encourage literacy and reading skills by having an ereader…actually it sounds like it may be quite a bit like an iPad.

Hmmm …. I hope it’s a reading tool of some kind. Leapfrog usually does a great job at letters and reading concepts.

I think it will be very much like a touch/reader, including wifi and maybe built-in parental-type controls. Kindle 2 accesses wifi as part of the purchase price, and I bet this will too.

How exciting!!! Would SO love to win this for my son before our long trip to Louisiana to see family – maybe I would have fun with it too…haha! We LOVE Leapfrog! I’m thinking…hmmm….maybe it’s similar to a DS somehow?? Wifi would be SUPER cool to have! Love it that they’re building suspense by keeping it top secret – how fun is that!!

I think it’s similar to the Leapster 2, but it’s more advanced. It might have internet access or allow kids to play together on multiple systems.
