Today has just been one of those days and I feel like I am getting to that point where I need some ME TIME. I really don't get that often… maybe once ever six months or so which is totally not enough. Moms should get out and rejeuvante themselves ever couple weeks or so.
Well I just got off the phone with Hubbs… he is on his way home from work and he said Jen just take the evening go grocery shopping and stop off at Starbucks and enjoy your favorite drink there. AHHH… I'm so excited I can't even hold it in ๐ I just had to share.
How often do you get out and have some me time? I'm thinking about starting a mommy's night out here in my new city. Not sure if I will or not but its something I have been thinking about it. I know one blogger Stefanie that lives really close to me, so I should see what she thinks :).
I'll be back a renewed mommy tonight ;).

I am the same as you…I hardly ever get out without my daughter. It’s getting easier as she gets older, but still…I miss her so much when I leave her that I can’t stay away for more than 15 mins….

not enough here either. i really need to find more balance in that regard. we moms really need time to refuel our tanks so we can better care for our families.
glad u got some time out, but sucks that it’s going grocery shopping. hehe. that’s often my “me time” too. :oP

Hey Jen,
same with me…I spend all “my time” in front of computer finishing my PhD thesis. But I hope to hand it in next month and than I will try to go to dance class once a week. I think moms really need some time for ourselves but than again I miss Jun a lot, so I can not stay away for more than an hour ๐

I am blessed in the way that I get time Daily (1hr in the early evening to meditate) I also meet up with friends every 2nd Tuesday of the month for dinner AND I go out with friends every other Saturday.
I found out that a mommy with no me time is a mommy that is burnt out ๐
Enjoy your time
