I just found out that Domestic Diva is letting mom bloggers have a chance to Win a Dyson “Pink” Vaccuum in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This couldn't have came at a better time as a couple weeks ago we had Lyndsee's Allergy testing done and she actually tested negative to all food allergies, but highly positive to environmental allergies. One of the environmental allergies she tested extremely high for was Dust Mites. The place on her back where they poked her with the dust mites prong… it swelled up so big and at the time I didn't know what that particular prong was but knew whatever it was it wasn't good. It scared me that it was getting so big.
Anyways when the allergist came back in she was explaining to us what we needed to do to help control the dust mites and one thing she highly recommended was a good vaccumm. I have been doing some research and the Dyson's are highly recommended but we are having to save up before committing to a big purchase like that. When I came across Domestic Diva's site, I thought oh my goodness what a dream come true if we can win this. Everyone send good thoughts please and if you would like to win as well… hurry up and go enter. Just click on the button above.
Also if you don't mind sending us good thoughts we can win this. Lyndsee is having a bad time right now with her asthma :(.

Have you considered a Halo Ultraviolet Vacuum? The Halo™ UV-ST Ultraviolet Vacuum is the world’s only germ-killing vacuum that safely uses UV-C technology to instantly kill dust mites, viruses, bacteria, mold, flea eggs and other invisible germs in your home. Halo Ultraviolet Vacuums are the only vacuums that combine powerful suction with chemical-free disinfection.
I came across your blog in a Google Alert for dust mites…and I just had to shoot you a quick note. I actually work at Halo – I do the web stuff, marketing stuff, etc. If your lil Lyndsee’s asthma is too much to handle, there isn’t another vacuum in the world that actually kills dust mites for your to suck them up, instead of them burrowing down into your carpet to reproduce at the sound of your vacuum. No other vacuum. Event he best vacuum will only suck up 15% of the dead and non-moving stuff in your carpet, it’s been studied time and time again. It’s just an idea.
If you want to learn more about Halo, please don’t hesitate to contact me at amchenry@halocompany.com….and check out our website at gethalo.com. I’m not here to sell it…I’m here to make people aware, that’s all! Best of luck to your adorable daughter!
