I would turn on the television every morning before work so I could watch my favorite morning anchor Rene Syler. Then one morning, I woke up and realized she was no longer part of the CBS Early Show team. I will not lie, I wept. I always wondered where she went and what she was up to, and I finally got that chance last week at the Disney Social Media Moms celebration.
As a mom, I am always thinking, “Am I a good enough mother”. I worry, I feel guilty and just always wonder if my girls think that I am a good mother. Then, when my girls just pop up out of the blue and say “I Love You Mommy” or “You are the best mom ever”, then for those few seconds, all the worries are washed away. The only thing, is those worries come rushing back in soon after.
Rene Syler, was so inspiring in telling her story. We are good enough moms and she is here to tell us why! Listen in at this video. Please take 10 minutes of out of your day, and you will be inspired and motivated!
You are a good enough mother – Always remember that!

Oh my Gosh! You are so sweet! Thank you for this lovely post. We all have the moments you describe, all haunted by “Am I good enough”? or it’s evil twin, “Am I messing up my kids?” We can all only do what’s in our power to do and worrying only saps energy and enthusiasm , leaving us ill-equipped for the job we need to do. My philosophy is I do my best, if I mess up, I apologize and I move on. My kids learn not that their mom is perfect, that she is fallible and knows how to handle things, even when they don’t go her way. BTW, to me, a MUCH bigger/better life lesson than perfection.
You’re doing just fine, mommy!
*hugs*
