It is hard to believe that it is back-to-school time for kids all over the country. Back-to-school season is a busy time for parents and often small things are forgotten, including updating a child’s safety information. While a parent never wants to think about needing items such as DNA samples and fingerprint kits, these items could prove critical in the event of an emergency.
Sam’s Club is helping parents get prepared by including safety kits as part of their annual FREE back-to-school health screenings for members AND nonmembers on Saturday, August 9 from 11:00am – 3:00pm at all Sam’s Club locations with a pharmacy (596 locations nationwide).
The savings are valued at up to $150 and include:
· A take-home DNA kit that provides instructions on storing a saliva sample to help find children in the event they are ever lost to which only a parent/guardian has access
· A child safety ID kit with a fingerprint form and instructions on storing personal information
· Blood pressure testing
· BMI (body mass index) testing
· Vision screenings (select locations)
