I think my favourite Mother’s Day gift was when I took my Mom to see Stars on Ice. We ate at the arena before the performance and the skaters were having dinner there too (they have a nice restaurant over looking the ice). Mom is an avid skating fan, and she had the chance to meet all her favourite skaters in person before the performance. The restaurant manager knew that I was bringing my Mom and that she was a huge fan, so he seated us in the middle of the skaters. Mom was in heaven!
Gosh that would have to be the year that my husband gave me scissors. Yes, scissors. It wasn’t what I expected but it’s definitely a Mothers Day gift I won’t forget! (he was in so much trouble! lol)

My favorite Mother’s Day gift was a day at the zoo with my husband and 2 boys. It was the first year we spent either Mother’s Day or Father’s Day as just our little family. We’d always done the run between both of our Mom’s and decided to do something that was just us. It was WAY more relaxing and fun. It’s now a tradition…this will be our 3rd year doing it and of course we always take lots of pictures…which we then put into a photobook:).
Still love the idea of a Mother’s Day iPad! However would love to win this Viastaprint 12×12. Great giveaway!

It’s sad but my favorite mother’s day gift to date is the year my husband took the wee ones to the park very early in the am and let me sleep then came back around 10am to wake me up with Starbucks caramel machiatto. Ahhhh. And so totally selfish.

What a great gift, every mom would love to get one of these.
My greatest gift was the birth of my first child who made me a “mom” in the first place. Thank you little bug for entering our lives. Then of course the wonderful pleasure of doing it again the second time. I think it was my first gift a silver anklet that has meant the most to me. I broke one day but I still have it and still cherish it almost a decade later.
