I came home the other day and was greeted with a sweet surprise.
A teacup orchid from Proflowers.com. A nice smile immediately swept across my face and my girls were just as excited as I was. You see, it is a very rare occasion that I receive flowers. In fact, it is almost non-existent around here so as you can imagine this totally made my day and put an extra beat in my step.
The flower has been sitting on my dining room table in the middle for a week and half now, and as you can see from the picture above taken this evening, the flower is still just as beautiful. I really am in love with the mug as well. That is one of the best parts, when the flower is no more, I can still keep the mug and have the memory forever. My mother is amazing. The best mother anyone could ask for. Her favorite flower is the Rose, so if I had to choose one, it would have to be the rose. She likes them all. We’re very low on cash, so if I could win this for my mother, I know she would be very grateful! Her birthday was on the 26th of April & my family wasn’t able to get her a gift, but this would make it up to her. She’s an awesome person & this is the least we can do for her.
